Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The material is difficult, but Dr. Reba takes her time. If you are willing to put in the effort, it is a good class.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Reba's section was a hybrid course, meaning we only met twice a week. To make up for the lack of class time, we were supposed to watch videos that Dr. Reba had posted online. These videos were clear and informative, and I enjoyed the additional flexibility with my schedule.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Not unreasonably hard. But if you aren't willing to discipline yourself, the course might not be a good fit.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a very difficult course, especially if you have no prior calc knowledge. If you need to learn calc definitely take it, but keep up with homework and understand the difficult examples to do well on the tests.

    Course highlights:

Learned the basics of calculus like various types of derivatives and anti-derivatives (integrals) and how to solve each type or mixtures of types.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

DO THE HOMEWORK. You must do the homeworks and understand even the difficult problems to do well on the tests. Make sure you are comfortable going really fast through problems too, finishing the tests in time was difficult for me. Also, check out Kahn Academy and office hours for extra help

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a fun course, but also difficult. It was a good challenge though. And the instructor, Hugh Geller, was really great about giving us lots of practice. We usually had the highest or second highest section grade on every exam. I almost took a lower level class because I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to do well in 1060, but I am glad I took it.

    Course highlights:

The course was based mainly around derivatives, things related to derivatives, and integrals.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you don't understand something, don't be afraid to get help. Don't wait until the week before the exam to understand something. Get help while you're learning it.
