Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you're willing to put in the time to complete the assigned readings and videos (approximately 4-6 hours a week), the course is extremely insightful and intriguing. The course is manageable and you can do well in it regardless of your major if you try. Professor Taydas provides great connections between the materials and really pushes you to question and challenge preconceptions.

    Course highlights:

The most amazing part of this course is not only all the exposure to material you receive, but the conceptual conceptions you derive from the collaboration of all the materials and the lectures. Professor Taydas does a great job of selecting meaningful material from various resources and providing equally important connections.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the text books and articles. Watch the videos. If you want to do well, do not just write down what the professor puts on the board during her lectures. Listen to what she says because 75% of the exam material comes from what she says. The lecture power points are merely outlines.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the professor is very intelligence and expresses many view points. Her lectures are very informative and the assigned readings are not too daunting.

    Course highlights:

I have learned the difference between conflict and war, how foreign policy is formed, and how it is affected on different levels in the world.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study and watch all the assigned videos. They do come up on the quizzes and exams. Make sure you study the maps there will be multiple choice on them and if you have it memorized then they will be a free 10 points.
