Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

While the lecture style was often slow, Goddard's grading style was fair and easy to understand. Also he kept many references and notes uploaded to his website frequently, so it was easy to know what was coming up and to stay on track.

    Course highlights:

This course took a deeper look at data structures than I had previously understood, covering the function and form of simple things like linked links down to more complex topics like hash tables and sorting. Most of the course was spent on binary trees and related material.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The quizzes often have questions taken from the optional homework assignments, so doing them makes for an easy 100 on the quizzes. The tests are very different from the quizzes and will require confidence in the material covered.
