    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was I felt an extension of the anatomy and physiology course I had taken previously. This course focused more solely on the exercise and the physiological effects it has on ones body. Dr. Maples was an intense teacher but as long as you went to class and asked questions you were fine. I'd even recommend meeting with her before class. I did often before quizzes and she would go over things that were often on the quiz that day.

    Course highlights:

This was one of the first classes in college that really challenged me. I had to work hard studying the book and other materials to make sure I was prepared for the weekly quizzes and our tests. This class helped me learn and find a more comprehensive understanding of physiology and the bodies physiological systems. You will later have several EXS classes that build on what you learn from the physiology course

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to glass and meet with her. I cannot put more emphasis on this. There were two people other than myself that would meet with her before almost every class to cover the previous lecture or prepare for the weekly quizzes. She is very helpful if you show that you have a real interest in the material we covered.
