    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to PR majors. It is a required class; however, Ken Payne makes it enjoyable and succeeds at the goal of making you fall in love with PR. It grabs your attention and shows you a quick peek at all public relations has to offer from ethics to government (public affairs.) You might hear some stuff that surprises you!

    Course highlights:

This class looked into the overall umbrella of public relations. You basically go over every genre of pr there is and how to handle things in that situation. Every chapter has a field example that you blog how you would have handled the situation. It's fun being the critic and putting yourself into those shoes as a PR guru.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to read the book and go to class. Ken Payne goes over every chapter in class. His tests have things on them (open response) that you would only know in class. You also need to post on the class board all the time. He loves involvement through that since it encourages participation digitally.
