    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course if you are not a nursing major. Dr. McDaniels is a great teacher, but the class is very hard and frustrating if you are not interested.

    Course highlights:

I gained a thorough knowledge of the body from this course and it was beneficial in my health major.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would find a study group and work with your peers. This class requires a lot of note taking and I would take lots of notes and go to all the study sessions.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course. It prepares you for the next step and creates a new outlook for those going into the medical field.

    Course highlights:

The highlights from this course that I specially enjoyed was the lab. The lab allowed the material to come to life in my mind. It was hands on and provided a visual to better understand the human anatomy. I learned bones, muscles, arteries, veins, and all about the form and function of our multiple body systems. Very interesting!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to not only memorize but truly understand. Try to enjoy what you learn and figure out if this is what you truly want to do with your life. Good luck!

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Do not take this course unless you have to have it. I needed it for my major, and I did well. It is not a course for first semester freshmen or non-science majors. It will kill your GPA if you are not living and breathing anatomy.

    Course highlights:

I love this course because I got a strong foundation on how the human body works. We went over all the body systems, for both the anatomy and the physiology aspects.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take it unless you have to. Be prepared to study at least an hour every day for it.
