    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was one of the first classes at Southside that ever challenged me. I could no longer pass by by only cramming the class hour before the test. This class taught me the work ethic I have today. I would recommend it to anyone up for the challenge.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of knowledge about the basic laws of Chemistry that have now become very useful in my AP Biology class. This knowledge is transferable to many areas of science and it has helped a lot to already have a foundation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Never cram. Always prepare in advance. Review the material in the textbook before the lesson is taught on it. If you are already somewhat familiar with the topic, it makes it a lot easier to understand when the teacher begins the lecture. Often times if this is the first time you've heard the information, it can get lost on you.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to students who know they are going to take this chemistry class in college. The class is beneficial even if you don't pass the exam because you will be really prepared if you have to take it again.

    Course highlights:

I learned a little bit from many different areas of chemistry. It was kind of like the basics of many areas.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend that you not wait until Sunday to do all your homework for the week. Spread it out throughout the week because it will take more time than you expect.
