    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because Maria Cuevas is a great Professor who genuinely cares about her students and their education.

    Course highlights:

We learned a lot about the wealth gap within this course. We watched a few videos on this issue and did a lot of activities to show us how unfair it is. Overall you learn a lot about social injustice and why things are the way they are.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you take a lot of notes and study hard before exams!!

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend everyone to take intro to sociology regardless of your field of interest because I truly believe it is an essential class that will strengthen anyone's intellect due to it's useful information we may apply to our everyday situations.

    Course highlights:

I learned that in today's world, the way that we humans communicate is not just verbally. The way we behave is a way of communication. The way we are perceived by others may lead them to make assumptions. Culture is also an important factor in today's world because that may give us a completely different perspective and our society.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to what the instructor has to say! Anyone can learn so much from her because she truly wants to help her students. I recommend you to take notes and review them at home. Read all the chapters too!

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Fairly easy--all test questions are found in the book or the notes he gives you. He also prepares a study guide before every test.

    Course highlights:

I learned about Marxism and the different ways people have approached sociology throughout the decades.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I've been told that there's some Quizlet study guides. However I made my own index cards using the vocab words from the book and the main topics in the lecture notes.
