    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Doyungan outlines the chapters well in her notes and PowerPoint slides. Additionally, she has a wonderful SI leader that provides exceptional help with the course material. However, the professor gives exams frequently. Even if she has not finished a chapter, we are still tested over that material, with as little as two days to study.

    Course highlights:

Throughout this course, I have gained a good foundation of the fundamentals of biology. I learned the basic concepts of multiple fields of biology, including cell structure, genetics, enzymatic activity, and the various types of respiration. Additionally, I have learned how to stay on top of my studying, for exams were given every two to three weeks.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, make use of your resources. Go to SI sessions and the professor's office hours. Make sure that you deeply understand the material, for the questions that the professor asks are very specific. Additionally, read the chapters before class discussion of the chapter. Since the professor can go through the slides rather quickly, prior knowledge about the topic is helpful.
