    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class will challenge you, but you will have a better understanding of how the drugs work.

    Course highlights:

From taking this course I can now identify different drug classes and I now have a better understanding if a certain class should be given to a patient or if an medication error could be prevented.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read each chapter and take very good notes in class. Also, even if you get your 75% test average without taking the fourth exam still be sure to study for the last exam. You will need to know the information in the future regardless.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class lets a future nursing student learn more about the different drug classes and the drugs that belong in them. It also shows a student how to start applying the content that is being taught rather than just memorizing the information.

    Course highlights:

Throughout this course I have gained different ways study and how the nursing process plays a role into the hospital setting. Normally, in past courses I use flashcards to study but in this course it was much more than that. Now I take notes, read the book, use flashcards, and and make my own study guides for every test. This course does not just give you the syllabus material, but shows a student how to be the best nurse possible when giving drugs to patients.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course isn't easy for most students. Although, it is very possible to do a great job. My best advice is to talk to the professor at least a week before each test so the student will get more details on the drugs that will be on the test.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is among one of those classes that is absolutely a mandatory to have if one needs to succeed in the medical field.

    Course highlights:

Two vital things: the first being all the different kinds of pharmacological drugs and drug classes that currently exist in the medical field, while the other being the nursing process that is implemented during many situation such as patient care and drug rules.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a must to always study as much material as possible without overloading yourselves with stress. Take breaks from time to time, but nevertheless, always study.
