    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love Dr. Lin's class. He is very thorough in his assignments, but also offers a rubic on what he is looking for in the assignments, what the assignment is supposed to look (Excel and Access), and allows you the opportunity to contact him should you need extra help by quickly responding to a student's email requests or questions.

    Course highlights:

I took this class at Coastal Bend College, but it was nontransferable to TAMUCC. It was also a 2013 Version and the one I am taking is a Office 365 Version. It is a refresher because it teaches shortcuts and formulas to easily manage spreadsheets and data queries which is needed in the accounting profession.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The course may seem easy to some students, but it's best to put in 12+ hours. Repetition is the key to learning. Make sure to understand the process of how these lessons can help in the profession of your choosing. Refresh these skills as often as possible because technology is always changing and updating to something new. You have the advantage as a student to use Excel and Access and then when you're ready to take on your chosen profession.
