    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because the professor is excellent. She is a bit eccentric, but this really helps learning the material she teaches. Also, the many hands on activities and examples she uses are a great way to understand what you are learning because rather than just taking notes you get to apply your knowledge and see it for yourself.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the hands on activities and methods. This course for me was more of a refresher course than one where I learned a lot of new information, because it is intended to teach the TEKS that go through elementary. Although it did help me remember some of the lessons I had forgotten (rock types, energy, etc.)

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always bring your materials to class and pay attention, sometimes it is easy to daze off, but there will be small things she teaches in class on the exam. Also don't wait to the last minute to do the homework, it is very easy to make a lot of small mistakes and some are more time consuming than you would imagine.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend her for fundamentals of science. She was very informative and entertaining. She cut her hair to make a point! This completely surprised the entire class.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to build a circuit and find other labs and activities to gain and engage the children into learning.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make friends and get everyone's number on your group! There's a lot of group work and participation grades. Make sure you're there on time for the easy warmups.
