Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Well, the class itself can be quite tedious with all the work that a student must do, In my class, we had quite a bit of homework so I strongly suggest that people manage their time to do the homework on time. The work will catch up to the student if it isn't managed correctly. I also recommend finding people within the class to pair up with so you can study, do homework and help each other. I think that sometimes it is way better to study with another classmate than with yourself. The class itself focuses on primarily teaching the students with techniques to solving problems and gives a foundation which is used in calculus 3 if you plan on taking it afterwards.

    Course highlights:

Well, I gained quite a bit of knowledge and not only about math. The class specifically deals with integration and series so that is quite helpful when taking higher level maths like calculus 3. The course itself wasn't too difficult as long as you kept up, I found that getting together with people to study was one of the best resources I could have.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Like I mention before, having a group to study with is very helpful and it also helps you interact better with people. Don't fall behind, that might be the biggest advice I can offer an incoming student.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Rhoden is a very easy teacher for difficult classes. He gives many examples for math problems so that you feel comfortable solving it even though it seems difficult at first.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Rhoden is a very interesting teacher. He shows you how mathematics is used in everything that people enjoy in life. He keeps things interesting for a subject many people do not like or consider boring.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend doing all of the practice tests he gives you. They really help on the real test. Also when he gives the homework do it as soon as you can and it will make you feel like you are really accomplishing something in this class.
