    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class challenges the the bubble I have lived in. Mr. Wells uses different famous literary pieces and relates it to what is happening in the world.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the class discussions that my class would have. I have learned that there is a lot more to the world than what is in my bubble.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to do everything Mr. Wells says. There is no way to get away with shortcuts in his class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It pushed me to become a better writer and a better critical thinker. I would recommend it to others because I grew a lot academically in that course and it gave me a head start for my AP english classes I am taking senior year.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to articulate my thoughts, write in a more structured way, and how to interpret rhetoric of literature pieces. I learned about how to analyze a piece of literature and write a paper about how the author is trying to convey a certain topic to her audience which I did not know how to do before.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take this course, but make sure you are ready and well prepared for the course load. It is very intense and takes a lot of writing. Also make sure you practice with the tips the teacher gives in class because that is the only way to improve.
