    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I definitely recommend this course because it is the most important course in our Faculty. It is provided in very professional way, and most importantly helps to understand the econometrics and the purpose of econometric modelling. It also gives great introduction to OLS that can is further developed during the Master.

    Course highlights:

I learned as much as I needed about basic Econometrics on Bachelor level, so now I am able to deepen the knowledge abroad at the University of Groningen. The biggest difference is that it seems that at the University of Warsaw we learn econometrics more from the empirical stand point than from theoretical (mathematical proofs etc.), so we are able to get more familiar with the whole concept.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do as much as you can on regular basis. Study for every week, so you can get familiar with theory on regular basis, and then you are able to use it all during the assignment. If you leave studying the theory for the end, you will not get any knowledge because of the chaotic approach.
