Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The way Professor Thrower teaches is by explaining the overall view of each chapter first and then she demonstrates with examples. It's very helpful to see a problem worked out rather than be expected to do it without ever seeing it be done.

    Course highlights:

I have learned the managerial parts of accounting which adds to my principles of financial accounting from last semester.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to master this course you should follow along with every step she goes over and definitely use the practice homework problems in advanced to the homework problems being due.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Its an overall fun class if you want to know more in the business and financial world. It's a class that most people would not even think about taking if they did not have to, but honestly to me it is better to take a class where you are gonna actually learn something useful then to take a easy, boring course where it is gonna be an easy A.

    Course highlights:

The biggest highlight was finishing with a good grade! All the hard work definitely payed off. I learned how to create a Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Statement of Owner's Equity. I learned all about deferrals and accruals. I learned all about how to adjust entries and unadjusted entries. I learned more than I could ever share in this statement! It was a great class!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely give the advice of always asking questions in class, reading the next chapter before class, always study note cards, stay ahead with the online assignments, and always go to ask questions during office hours.
