    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Excellent, thorough lectures; profound hands-on labs. Professor was kind and incredibly knowledgeable, went above and beyond when it came to helping her students be prepared for exams, future science classes, etc.

    Course highlights:

This class was an amazing way to learn about Biology hands on! The professor was fun and the lectures were very engaging!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always study your lecture notes the day before class; don't be afraid to ask your peers and the professor questions if you have any; form study groups for the exams and work in groups for the labs!

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a basic science class for non science majors. As long as you do the reading and pay attention in lectures you should do fine. Dana lets you have a cheet sheet of notes for the test.

    Course highlights:

I liked learning about DNA and genetics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This teacher doesn't require a book. She uses a free online book. That is a big plus for your pocket book.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was an incredibly awesome introduction to biology. Professor Grabner taught it better than my highschool biology!

    Course highlights:

I learned about the human systems, genetics, and environmental biology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do his practice questions. His tests are based off the practice questions. Attend his review sessions, as well.
