    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a basic science class for non science majors. As long as you do the reading and pay attention in lectures you should do fine. Dana lets you have a cheet sheet of notes for the test.

    Course highlights:

I liked learning about DNA and genetics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This teacher doesn't require a book. She uses a free online book. That is a big plus for your pocket book.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was an incredibly awesome introduction to biology. Professor Grabner taught it better than my highschool biology!

    Course highlights:

I learned about the human systems, genetics, and environmental biology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do his practice questions. His tests are based off the practice questions. Attend his review sessions, as well.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course from this professor to anyone interested in going into the medical field or even just needing to fulfill a natural science requirement, Barnby is very knowledgeable and experienced in this subject area. The class size is huge but he utilizes his tech resources very well to make the material memorable.

    Course highlights:

I had taken a previous biology course so I had some knowledge coming into this course with Barnby but I definitely felt I learned even more in his class, especially when the anatomy portion came to pass. I was able to learn and remember most of all about how our bodies function in certain environments and when we consume things how certain organs break down and use the material for energy.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This is course is very extensive and is definitely not one of those courses where you can just do all the classwork, lab work, and tests and pass with an A. I invested a lot of hours into this course and I studied really hard, never missed an assignment, performed a little bit a above average on the tests and still only got a "B". I still very much enjoyed it and it helped me work on my time management and utilize other learning methods but this is one of those classes that you will need to invest a lot time into.
