    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Allen does a remarkable job preparing students for what to expect as far as college writings go. She challenges her students and pushes them to think and write diligently and with great depth.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to become a more in depth writer that is pushed to dig deep into hard topics or even simple ones. Being a transparent writer is one of the most significant and attract qualities to your audience.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Being willing to have your work critiqued, don't take it too close to your heart. Accept and work hard to grow from that criticism. Be engaged in class at all times and don't be afraid to ask questions, all questions are good questions.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this if you are seriously considering improving your writing going into college. It prepares you for the fierce workload ahead and I feel I am prepared after taking the class. I wouldn't recommend if you tend to procrastinate and hate writing assignments.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the 1 on 1 time you were able to spend with the teacher. College composition helped me structure sentences properly, improve my vocabulary, and properly correct punctuation errors.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Working ahead is a big key to completing this course successfully. DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. Also, check up with the teacher about your assignments and if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask because that is what the teacher is for.
