Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, because it is challenging. United States history showed me the past triumphs of America, and also how to avoid falling back into the negative parts of the United States' past. It was very fast paced, and a ton of information was given, but it taught me how to take good notes and study well.

    Course highlights:

I learned much more about the downfalls of America than I had ever heard before. All the basic history stories I had heard before were shown to me in a more complex way. We dissected not only events of the past, but the mindsets of the people experiencing these events, using primary sources.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes! In this class, the biggest key to success was notes. There was no downtime in this class, you had to be constantly listening and writing. The class moved too quickly to write down every word, so you have to learn to pick out the key components of the lecture. Taking good notes led to good study guides, and good test scores.
