Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Crowder is a very hands on teacher. Unlike most, he genuinely cares about your education and always is available to offer help.

    Course highlights:

We learned so much, one of my favorite parts of the year was when we studied the Civil rights movement. I studied this part of our history in more depth than I had ever before and it was particularly moving and interesting in Mr. Crowders APUSH class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go into APUSH ready to learn with an open mind! You have to want to learn to do well!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I learned so much about the structure of our country's government and how things are organized. I enjoyed the different levels of government and really going in depth with policies and laws. The class is really interesting, with modern and relatable material.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the United States Constitution, and how in depth it truly is. I had no idea the complexity on which our country was founded upon, and found it not only interesting, but also helpful, to learn about why our government is the way it is.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Use the textbook. Trying to tiptoe around the assignments and simply looking up the answers won't help, especially when it comes to assessments. Using the required reading materials will help the student go so much deeper and help them develop a better overall understanding.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Watts is an amazing teacher. The course not only drones on and teaches about government but is also truly dynamic and provides a lot of valuable experiences such as competitions like We the People!

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was definitely Model Congress. By simulating how Congress actually comes together and having simulated debate over bills that we had made I was better able to understand how our Government works.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you stay on top of group work! Thats honestly the hardest part of this class. Besides that its pretty smooth sailing
