Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Wilson is one of the most down to earth teachers I've ever had the pleasure of meeting at CCD.. He's very knowledgeable about the course he teaches and passionate about his students. I highly recommend his class. He keeps you accountable for your grade so don't think he will allow you to skate by.

    Course highlights:

One huge highlight of this course is the final project. It is introduced in the beginning of the semester and you need to figure out three professional skills you would like to improve for yourself and have them improved by the end of the semester with evidence. I chose to improve on public speaking, writing, and study and memory skills. I improved all three of these traits throughout the semester and proved to my class in doing so with a presentation. I mostly improved my public speaking skill because Professor Wilson forces you (in a good way) to come out of your shell in class. All of the things I learned in this class can be applied to the real world, which is nice because not every class offers that advantage.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to recall information on the spot that Professor Wilson has gone over in class. if you want to improve on public speaking then this course is for you. Also attendance is a must to pass this course. It is well worth it in my opinion. I learned a lot and Professor Wilson has motivated me to become a better student.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Wilson is young and excited about business which comes across every class. He can be a tough grader but helps you out if you're an active participant in class. Listen to what he says and try to give insightful commentary. He doesn't mind his students opposing his ideas and often lets discussions take up the entirety of class.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to polish my resume and how to write better business emails. I also learned how to write a grant proposal and the formats for writing any type of business communication.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to what he says, do all the homework, visit his office to get some one-on-one attention and help, and definitely participate in class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class had a lot of information on how to start a business. There was a lot of homework for a three credit class. The teacher knew his stuff.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to not be afraid to start a business once I seen all of the steps involved.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I took a full load at the time. I also worked a full time job. Make sure you have enough time for one self, because it really is a lot of work.
