    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is overall mind boggling. You will be pushed outside of your comfort zone and tackle problems you never dreamed of solving. I am also not a great math person myself, so taking this course challenged myself to be disciplined. With the guidance of my teacher, I was also able to understand and appreciate the world of science much more than I already did before.

    Course highlights:

My teacher, Mr. Hu, is an irreplaceable one. His teachings have given me a totally different perspective on my ability as a student. He pushed me knowing what my limits were and encouraged me to keep going. Not only did we learn about gas laws and organic chemistry, Mr. Hu took time out of his lessons to explain little anecdotes that kept the room lively. Sometimes these short stories were comedic and other times they were serious. He wanted the best for us, and he is a teacher I know I will never run into again.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study at least thirty minutes a day on this subject. It will help ease your stress about the huge AP exam at the end of the course. This is a very difficult course, and it requires a lot of discipline and perseverance. Do not take it if you're easily discouraged.
