Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you don't take pre-med, don't take this class. If you do, go and work hard! You can make it!

    Course highlights:

Basic chemistry, quite useful, including light, chemical equations, moles, naming of the compound. ALEKS is also used, which is a good helper.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard and take notes on the class. Prepare for exams by working on discussion sheets. You can do it!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You have to take it if you're pre-med so just remmber: It is a weed out course. Don't give up! Watch the lectures, take good notes, ask for help and GO TO OFFICE HOURS!!

    Course highlights:

Definitely learned the foundation for next few semesters of chemistry. Good refresher if you didn't take AP Chem and useful knowledge for MCATs.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You definitely need to study. Use the textbook and ask as many people to explain tough subjects to you as possible. The harder the topic, the more people you should ask to explain it to you.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Good teacher, tough marking. It is going to take a lot of effort to get though this course. Prof Golger is a good teacher but with 200 kids he can't give much attention to anybody.

    Course highlights:

This was repeat of AP chem but in much more detail. I learnt to pay attention in class and go to the office hours.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard, do lots of work, sit in the front of the class and go to office hours.
