    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Good teacher, tough marking. It is going to take a lot of effort to get though this course. Prof Golger is a good teacher but with 200 kids he can't give much attention to anybody.

    Course highlights:

This was repeat of AP chem but in much more detail. I learnt to pay attention in class and go to the office hours.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard, do lots of work, sit in the front of the class and go to office hours.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to people who are seriously considering a career in the sciences and/or medicine. This class will show you if you truly love to topics in chemistry that are integral to so many disciplines of science.

    Course highlights:

One of the most useful practices in the class was dimensional analysis, you will become a pro by the end!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to work hard in this class, but it will be worth it. Always do the packets!

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was a weed out class. The discussion sessions don't help much, depending on who your TF is. The quizzes and tests are difficult, and what you learn during lectures does very little to help. What I recommend is to really teach yourself, and study groups really, really help.

    Course highlights:

The lab portion of this course was very fun and helpful. The labs are not overly difficult, and they actually pertain to the class lectures. I really enjoyed it.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Teach yourself, form good study groups, go to office hours, prepare to study a lot.
