Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who is truly interested in neuroscience. The course is very dense with a lot of material being thrown at you but the information makes you more fascinated with how the nervous system functions and teaches how it does so. Also, the professor is very helpful and makes himself available at all times to help his students learn.

    Course highlights:

The course focused on the over-arching functioning of the nervous system, teaching you how each of your systems (visual, auditory, pain reception, etc.) works on the level of the brain as well as the specific areas in which the information is processed.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely go to class, pay attention and take notes, and study your notes. Doing these things allowed me to get an A in the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the professor is very kind and is very good at teaching. He is also very understanding and curves nicely.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the overall brain.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it seriously, just because he is nice doesn't mean he'll save your grade due to your laziness.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Even if you are not a neuroscience major (or even a science major), this is one of the most interesting courses BU offers.

    Course highlights:

Not only do you learn the molecular basis of the nervous system, but you gain a better understanding of how we perceive the world and how we understand the many things that surround us every day,

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Nothing makes studying for this class easier than allowing yourself to become immersed in this new knowledge. Don't think of it as a class --think of it as a way to know more about yourself.
