    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is a great introduction to United States public policy. I feel that Professor Krimmel did a good job of covering important issue areas such as health care and the economy, while maintaining a neutral view of politics in relation to these areas. This course allows you to learn the facts and develop your own opinions of these issues.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot more about how the economy plays a significant role in public policy. In addition, the class discussed why certain trends in politics occur, as well as why citizens react to certain issues in a certain way. The course did more to help me learn about not only what happened, but why it happened.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend reading the materials before class and following along during class in order to obtain a full understanding of the lectures. Also, visiting the professor for office hours is always a good idea, especially when you don't understand certain terms, or concepts within the class.
