    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to someone who craves a challenge. Its certainly difficult, but you end up learning so much.

    Course highlights:

I learned lots of lab skills like how to do titirations. We also learned how to do labs on our own with no instructions, only an objective. We also learned all of the ins and outs of thermochemistry, photoelectron spectroscopy, kinetics, equilibrium, and other things.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is extremely critical thinking based. If you're good at memorizing notes to pass a class, this is not the class for you. It requires a lot of deep thinking and problem solving skills. Get used to seeing very low raw scores, because that's how the tests are. The tests also are not just what you learn in class. It's taking what you learn and applying it on the test. Also, the homework is one big assignment over 1-2 weeks. If you're a procrastinator, this can be a challenge because it's almost impossible to do in one night.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it to the students who are very hard working because the class is very time consuming. Since homework takes around 3-5 hours, students who do it everyday are recommended.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed the labs that we did throughout the course. I learned that I should use my time wisely and not procrastinate until last minute. Because it's a college level course, homework is handed out every other week so it's easy for a student for procrastinate.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to come in either before or after school to ask questions. Since the teachers will give one on one attention to the student, many questions can be answered. It's also easier to understand something when examples are giving by the teacher.
