    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    The class is thought provoking and Tyberg keeps us informed on recent events. Participation is kind of required, but to make the class more interactive.

    Course highlights:

    Learned the importance of rhetoric and how to use quotations and essay build. Mainly learned about how to open your mind and educate yourself on how to really put a stance on what is right and wrong in society.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Do the work and get into the discussions. They can be really fun if you try and if you have the right professor.

    Course Overview:

    Our professor is able to mix our English 1A curriculum with relevant problems facing American society today.

    Course highlights:

    I believe the hilight of this course was learning about The Case for Repirations, an article about the African American struggle during and after slavery. We learned about tactics used to keep the ‘Jim Crow’ south alive and how it applied to minorties lives today.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    I would advise any student considering this class to always participate in the in class discussions as it will help with their grades essays.

    Course Overview:

    Dr. Melnarik is a stickler for rules but makes the material enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

    Making a polished annotated bibliography was my main takeaway, you really learn how to make a properly cited paper.

    Make sure you meet all of the requirements for assignments!
