Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'm not much of a math person but I felt that this professor really helped me with his teaching style. He gradually showed all of his work and only showed us difficult problems in which we needed help with. I have never received an A in a math course since my freshman year in high school and it was refreshing to me that I could receive an A in this class.

    Course highlights:

From this course, I gained knowledge on both calculus and trigonometry. This was a bridge course between precalc and calc which included details on both. I Iearned about different methods of solving equations that previous teachers never exposed me to and found myself understanding the mathematical concepts. The highlights of this course was receiving an A in the final and getting that A in the class. It was a relief and really great to see my hard work pay off.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard! If I didn't study for every test I would have definitely not received an A. One test in particular I remember I was too exhausted from work and didn't study for one test. I ended up receiving a 47/100, which is an F. However, my teacher had a policy that he was willing to drop one test and take the averages of the rest. This went in my favor because I received over 90% on all of my tests and when averaged with this one, I ended up receiving an A.
