Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Even though a majority of the population dislikes math, myself included I would recommend this course because you learn a completely different type of math and my professor made it fun. Math became fun for me, even though it may not be related to my major, by the end of the term it was defientely a course that I felt I had the most support and resources in and that isn't something all courses give you. My memory of my math course is that as much as majority of students may not like the subject, having supportive peers, teachers, etc. goes a long way to actually getting to enjoy the math course you are taking.

    Course highlights:

My highlights from this course were it taught me more than I expected and not just about math. I learned what study system worked best for me in this course and it has worked with future courses I’ve taken ever since. I learned that using an advance calculator and entering different equation functions is actually more difficult that learning and understanding the function hand-written.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to mentally prepare and have a positive outlook before the semester starts. Since I took this course in the winter semester, it was a lot more material condensed in a short term so I had to prepare and plan ahead throughout the semester and that's what worked best for me to stay on track and not fall behind.
