    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. While it was challenging, I appreciated the realistic applications of each concept Dr. Kapoor discussed. Additionally, the textbook was very interesting and to the point.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the final project we did. Over the course of two months, we were put into groups of four and completed a campaign project. The amazing thing about this project was that the final result helped the Shanghai, China study abroad program come up with strategies for gaining more applicants. In other words, as a class we were able to make a real change to further benefit Pepperdine.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

For students considering this course, I would strongly recommend to keep up with the textbook reading. Each chapter is roughly thirty pages and each of the tests covered several hundred pages which can be overwhelming. However, I definitely recommend taking this course because it enhances real-world PR skills.
