The prof gives you a different, more international perspective on America and its history that are not often discussed. It's refreshing, and he's positively brilliant at clearly and logically explaining cause-and-effect when it comes to historical events.

Read the supporting material and go to every single lecture. They both build upon one another, and if you miss a lecture, the reading doesn't always cover what the Prof. discussed in class.
