Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Sociology for many people can be difficult, or boring. However, Sharon makes it amazing to understand it, and gives us in class and out of class activities, for us to learn really well the topics. The homework is not boring, and she doesn't start a new topic until everyone in the class learn well about the topics.

    Course highlights:

I learned about all the sociological perspectives, theories, the different groups in society, and how they impact in a micro or macro perspective. I also understood why some people act the way they do, and it's because of the environment they live on, and how the groups they are surrounded by makes them act in way that might not be the proper one.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend students to read the book chapters ahead. In the class we have a lot of great discussions about the topics, and she gives amazing examples, so if you know about the topics, you would be able to share your opinion, and give a different point of view. Besides, participation in class gives you extra points.
