    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it because it thoroughly engages you in the American government. It immersed us deeply in how it works, what it does, how it started, etc. We discussed, debated, and asked questions about real life issues and events that have happened or are happening. We wrote a papers on each required reading and in the middle of the term we each did a research paper 12-15 pages long about one presidential candidate of our choice.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to critically think in real life situations through the discussions and weekly papers. Though the research paper I learned about the candidates life, his party, their platform, and the criticism about him.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise you to participate fully. Ask any questions you have about anything in the subject matter. Support a position you take and dont be afraid to support it. Engage in the class and enjoy the process.
