Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think that this class is beneficial for a student to take. It really changed how I view race and my understanding of what race is. With all the issues regarding race in our country today, I think that taking this course can really be eye opening to a student.

    Course highlights:

This course allowed me to see race in a different light. It basically took everything that we are taught about race and how we are taught to view it and turned it upside down. I learned that race and ethnicity are not just the color of ones skin but it's their culture and way of life. In our society we always want to put each other into boxes and categories based on appearance but after this course I understood why that is not the best solution.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep an open mind. To really get a good experience out of this course you have to be willing to change your way of thinking and make yourself uncomfortable. Do not be afraid to think outside the box.
