    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Great way to learn about other cultures.

    Course highlights:

I learned what is considered normal in our society may be bizarre and taboo in another. In our culture we hold a ceremony for our dead and want them to generally look the same as they were when they died. Whereas, in Papua New Guinea they cut open their loved ones as a ritual instead.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just read whatever the assignments your teacher may give you and you're in!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is very thorough in his lectures and you will leave class with an open mind and an open heart.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed doing the require field work project for this class which allowed me to do extensive research on a culture of my choosing as well as visiting that culture's ethnic enclave to do note taking.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Get prepared for a good amount of reading and writing assignments as well as discussions of controversial topics. It's a very enlightening experience and it's absolutely worth your while to take!
