    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because to know where you are going, you have to know where you have been. Meaning to know where the country you live in is going, you have to know the history and all of the things it had to go through to get to that point. Learn about the lives of our past ancestors and where you fall at today.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course for me was learning about Captains of Industry and Robber Barons, terms used to describe a certain type of individual. I learned that a couple of people fall in those two categories, such John D. Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie. Both were so rich they could have loaned the U.S. government money and still have been rich.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

What you need to succeed in this course is to be focused, determined, and open minded. I say open minded because a lot of people I know dislike history because of all the dates thinking they have to remember them when thats not completely true. Stay focused throughout the semester and make the lessons connect to you in some sort of way.
