    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

As a Biology major, any Biology class grabs my interest. This course is a required, but it is also an outstanding course. In a class of 300, the professors attempt to learn names, branch out and attempt to help a single student if they need it. Kimberly Tanner especially- she is an amazing person and you can tell she wants you to succeed.

    Course highlights:

You go over a lot of mechanics of the cell. The phospholipid bilayer and other aspects that compose it are elaborated on (taught by Dr. Tanner). Then, the course moves on to plants and their cellular functions (taught by Kevin Simmonin whom I would give a 3/5 rating). It elaborates on photosynthesis and the Calvin Cycle in GREAT depth. Then, it moves to genetics (taught by Sarah {I forgot her last name}, whom I would give a 4/5 rating).

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to office hours the Professors provide! They want you to succeed. In a class full of 300, I wasn't shy to ask questions so I would raise my hand, but if you are the shy type, then go to office hours. That way you can acquaint yourself with them, ask for help and get direct and personal 1 on 1 time.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

i would recommend this course because i found it very interesting the way that you learn about life and everything that makes things live. I also like that it can be fun to learn when you do some labs.

    Course highlights:

The labs thay we did were definetly one the best parts of the class because they were fun and they taught us so much.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to you about this course is to learn what you can from it. If you learn what you can you will actually discover that it can be very fun and interesting.
