    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

First of all, this is not an easy class because you will expect 7-9 challenging assignments throughout the semester. Basic concept of a topic(take sorting for example) will be taught during class time, but on the homework, you are expected to understand this concept thoroughly and apply it on a practical situation(one hw i did was to sort all the words, print out their frequency in both ascending and descending order, like, the word "the" appears 79 times in the text, then the next word is "he", which appears 67 times in the text). Surprisingly, midterm and exam were pretty easy compare to the homework I did, which means that if you are able to do the homework yourselves and I shit you not you can get a perfect score on the exam. Definitely a hard class, but I assure you that you will learn plenty, plenty and PLENTY from this class as this will help you greatly in your coding career.

    Course highlights:

Sorting, ADT, advance use of pointer.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

use cpluscplus.com as a reference, I promise you this is gonna be the greatest reference you can ever get. Also, Youtuber thenewboston does tutorials on c++ and cover almost all topics, his explanation is super clear too, must watch.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class helped me gauge how experience I was in my programming skills and helped me become a better programmer thanks to Mr. Shaikh and his focus on not only certain programming subjects like trees but he also gave us the most up to date tools to use for assignments.

    Course highlights:

I learned about recursion, trees, stacks, queues, linked lists, heaps, and C++.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention during the class, work on your assignments the moment they are assigned to you because time management is crucial and read your textbook carefully.
