    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

As a teacher, Dewitt is one of the most helpful and easy to learn with teachers. She makes this class easy to understand, and gives multiple extra credit opportunities in order to help ensure that you are able to pass this class.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of basic concepts of Chemistry that are going to become very fundamental in upper division CHEM classes. This course really sets you up to achieve in your future classes, and I learned so much and became so interested in my major, especially with all of the interaction in labs.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you take every opportunity they give for help, such as study sessions, study guides, and even office hours. Make it known to the teacher that you want to take this class. and are trying hard even if your grades may not be the best.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this teacher for this course. She was able to take very complicated and complex ideas and simplify them enough for everyone in class to understand without missing out on key information.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about basic chemistry that will help me with my future chemistry and nutrition classes.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

It's very important to actually study and review course material throughout the semester since lots of information builds upon other information. I would also recommend to join a study group with some of your peers. A lot of the ideas are easier to understand if you have someone to explain it to.
