Not too easy. Not too difficult.
SF State requires students to take upper division classes in order to graduate. As a Junior or Senior it can be tedious to take more GE classes; however, Pedro really grabs the attention of the class as he analyzes the US war on drugs and the history behind many of the drug policies we have today.
This course really shows the effect the war on drugs has on America, and the rest of the world. The class analyzes drugs such as methamphetamine and allows the student to see what it does to the brain and how it negatively affects dopamine receptors. The course gives the student a better understanding of the drug regulations that are in today's society.

Advice for students:
Read the articles that are assigned, they are very interesting and will help with the understanding of the policies discussed in class. Also, there is a group project at the end of the semester that requires you to edit a drug policy that is already active or propose a new policy that will be better for society.
