This class was tough.
This course goes over the macronutrients (carbohydrates, fats, proteins) in regards to metabolism. It's the first course of the program that gets very in detail about metabolism.
I liked that it took the lessons taught in biochemistry and went more into depth about them. For example, in Biochemistry we learn about glycolysis. In Advanced Nutrition I we get more in depth by learning about the importance of key enzymes in the pathway and what steps are and aren't reversible and why.

Advice for students:
It is very challenging and to succeed it's imperative to read the lecture material ahead of time, take thorough notes, and record lectures. It may be a good idea to brush up on biochemistry before class starts.
