Pretty easy, overall.
Because the course provides the fundamentals of marketing, it is not only a necessary class for Marketing majors, but also a great elective for Business Administration students who are still trying to decide on a minor or concentration.
The course provided knowledge on how to create effective trade strategies, by demonstrating the basics of marketing, such as planning and organizing, research, product and price, promotion, and distribution. We also briefly covered some modern-world strategies, such as the use of social media in marketing, and how its use has affected the marketplace in recent years.

Advice for students:
Given that this may be one of the first core courses a student takes in Marketing majors, I would say don't be alarmed. The class is very interesting, and you'll soon find yourself thinking about where that box of cereal you recently purchased came from, and how much it cost a company to make it!
