Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I am not much of a science person, but wow I love this class! Professor Vogel provides engaging reading, fun projects that allow you to be creative and makes lectures not as mundane as they could potentially be.

    Course highlights:

I love the "comfort zone map" project because you get to know your peers through seeing how they designed their maps and what is important to them!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading, do the responses and show up to class and you will do great! Professor V is hilarious!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I believe to learn about the vast array of differences within the cultures of the world can only expand the mind and open the heart. This class was laid out nicely as we discussed and surveyed the differing systems of thought and practices amongst many of the worlds traditions. A must- take class!

    Course highlights:

Highlights of the course included learning about zombies, magic, witchcraft, religion, and different ways art has affected culture. We learned about migrants and their ways of living in America.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to anyone who sets out to take this course is to make sure to bring an open mind into the classroom. Get ready to make the "strange familiar" and the "familiar strange." In fact, this is a classic anthropological concept in which you should understand well by the end of the course.
