    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is incredibly difficult, especially for non-science majors. However, Merrell is thoughtful in her lectures and presentations. She can help you get through it!

    Course highlights:

The labs were fun, interactive, and understandable. From this class you can grasp the basics of physics (laws of motion, mathematics involved, etc.) however there is so much more to learn. I believe that this class adequately prepares you for the next step.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework! Do the homework! Do the homework! The quizzes are exactly the homework questions, so this is essentially how she ensures you've done your work. Also be thorough on the labs because these will help to boost your grade, when the tests drag it down.
