    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was by far one of the best I've ever had. It was difficult at times and the professor was tough but influential. He critiques a lot but is very thorough. Overall, I'm glad he pushed me to be a hard working student.

    Course highlights:

At first I hated how hard of a professor he was and I felt that he was too blunt with his words at times but in the end, he helped me prepare for art school and pushed me to be a hard working student. This course taught me about how to illustrate the human body and how to practice drawing gesture poses. My greatest highlight was when the professor helped me figure out what I wanted to major in.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always go to class on time and practice your gestures as much as you can!! If you really want to succeed in this class, try to compete art projects early and get an early critique from the professor before you turn it in.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is a good study in the basics of drawing the human figure. Different techniques will be used to draw as well as different mediums and poses.

    Course highlights:

Form, line, shape, figure and light are a big part of this class and are essential in the long run. Figure drawing in itself is very important for those who wish to become illustrators and character designers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your best to practice as much as you can by filling up your sketchbook. Though projects are important, the sketchbook shows how you have grown as an artist over time
