    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was most definitely one of the hardest courses I have taken in my two years at Saddleback, but it was also the most interesting. Professor Levine was great at engaging students and provided fun and educational activities in, and outside of class.

    Course highlights:

If you are at all interested in learning more about the world around you (Solar System, Earth, how it all began) I would most DEFINITELY recommend Astronomy 20. Even if you are only just curious about these topics, after taking this class you will learn things you never thought possible.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Above anything else, do all of the assigned reading. Even if the assigned reading includes multiple chapters in a textbook along with supplementary articles, do it! You will be surprised how much the simple act of paying attention can help you in this class.
