    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Very in depth. Provides insight into differentiation, integration, limits, graphing trig waves, optimization.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed learning about optimization using differentiation. For example, in one problem set I was given a question that asked for the largest area of a garden given a specific perimeter. Using calculus I was able to solve problems like that.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes, push yourself, stay on task.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Gilleran is an amazingly enthusiastic professor who makes learning not only easier but also fun.

    Course highlights:

Within the span of two semesters, I mastered both derivative and integral calculus, as well as, parametric and polar coordinates.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice, practice, practice. It might seem trite, but in math, practice truly does bring you closer to perfection.
