Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love theology and being able to learn about the history of Christians and the love of God.

    Course highlights:

Two highlights I liked learning about in this course were learning about God's love for us, and how He used people to accomplish amazing things.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the Bible along with the book and it will help a lot!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It provides not only background into others' views, but understanding of your own.

    Course highlights:

I learned about general world religion/worldviews, and what my own faith requires.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes, have fun, talk about it all the time. The more you verbalize what you've learned, the better it will stick.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course goes through ten major disciplines(Philosophy/Theology/Ethics/Biology/psychology/sociology/law/politics/economics/history) and looks at all of them from of the viewpoint of six major religions (Christianity, Islam, Secular Humanism, Marxism-Leninism, Cosmic Humanism, Postmodernism). The textbook used throughout the course is Understanding The Times by David A. Noebel

    Course highlights:

As I took this course, I received a broader understanding of religions around the globe and not only what they believe but why they believe it and how is plays out in their everyday lives. It amazes me how one's worldview affects all areas of life and governing authorities. I really enjoyed all the discussions with fellow classmates and the teacher. After the course I did not feel so blind to the perspectives and beliefs of others.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Really dive into learning religions and perspectives that are not your own. Enjoy understanding and learning areas of study that at first seem dull and unimportant, such as theology, economics, and sociology. Also, don't be afraid to get into deep and hard discussions--sometimes that's when you learn the most!
