    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it would help to perfect one's reading and writing skills and to aid in the potential to advance from high school level writing to more sophisticated college standards.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to formulate a proper thesis statement, how to distinguish the various writing styles, and the importance of writing from an unbiased perspective. I also learned how to cite resources properly and how to void plagiarism.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay focused and consistent. Remember to follow the schedule and not get left behind as this would make a huge difference in the order of your assignments. Always proofread your assignments before submitting them.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

A very good teacher. This English class is not as writing intensive as other English courses I've heard of.

    Course highlights:

The main thing I've learned is being able to write with some personality

    Hours per week:

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love the way MacDonald teaches. This is my second semester having him and he makes the things I learn easy and fun. He also talks to you like an adult and not just some kid in the class.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights are learning more and new things about writing an essay and also just being a better person in society. I learned that I can be myself and shouldn't be afraid to say what is on my mind.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to anyone going into this class would be to make sure you are ready for a lot of essays. Also make sure you do as much reading as you can for this class because he will use the information from the reading.
