Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The films you watch in this class are super interesting and really get you to think. The tests aren't too bad, and you have a few writing assignments that are interesting.

    Course highlights:

I'm learning how to analyze a film properly and recognize themes and motifs. Now when I watch movies in my own time I watch them differently, but in a good way.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go into the class with an open mind! If you like music you would like this course because some of the curriculum is centered around music.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class for any student first time college class student. This class is engaging, easy, and the professor is light-hearted and students are willing to help. Watching movies and then getting to write YOUR opinion for a grade !? Doesn't get better!

    Course highlights:

The highlights were definitely the films Mr. Dunne chose, when people think film class, silent or foreign films come to mind, but the professor chooses relevant and iconic films to better teach his material and the experience is overall relaxing and straightforward.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Always have your textbook handy. Be respectful. Make a friend in class, you never know when you might need some notes you missed. Pick a movie that you can write A LOT about and has a lot of analysis you can fond online abut it, not just one that is appealing to you.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is a lot of fun. I love watching all the films in class. It would be great to take English 1A before this course, but it is not required. Be sure to take notes about the movies because the teacher will ask for the name of the director of a movie on the tests.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the movies. I love watching the movie, "Across the Universe." I has great Beatles music. The teacher is pretty cool too. He is kind of a hippy. I learned how to stay awake during a movie. I also learned how to critic and appreciate films.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just go for it. You will have fun. Just do you're work and you will pass the class. It honestly doesn't feel like a class sometimes. I suggest reading through the chapters for the tests. You should always go to class.
